My Comments: I always thought I could pull off doing an Aya costume since I first discovered the series. After all, she resembles me more than characters with dark hair and eyes. Yes, I'm aware that in the manga picture to the left Aya has pink hair, but in the anime it's dark blonde. I would have done the school girl costume but I've seen it done many times, so I decided to do an outfit of hers no one had done before. I managed to find a jacket pattern and a formal dress pattern that I could alter for the top. *Note: Feather bone is evil to work with* I had the skirt pattern, shoes, and jewelry already. It took me quite awhile to do this costume considering there were a lot of small pieces that had to be sewn together. It was great fun wearing this costume to A-kon 12, although not many people recognized me.
